Responsibilities
- Reliability assessment:
• Conduct reliability assessments for critical assets and systems to identify potential failure modes and assess their impact on operations, preventive plans, and solutions to maintain their reliability at the lowest cost.
- Failure Analysis:
• Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM):
• Schedule and execute maintenance tasks aligned with RCM principles to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
- Condition Monitoring:
• Participate in developing condition monitoring programs for critical machinery, including vibration analysis, oil analysis, and thermography, for example.
- Equipment Optimization:
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimize the performance and reliability of equipment through effective maintenance practices.
• Responsible for managing and administering special tools to ensure optimal utilization and maximum efficiency.
- Preventive Maintenance:
• Lead the development and execution of preventive maintenance plans to ensure program effectiveness and equipment reliability.
- Operational Disciplines
• Lead campaigns to ensure the effective implementation and sustainability of operational discipline
Qualifications
- Education:
• High Vocational or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial field.
- Experience:
• 5-7 years in oil & gas or manufacturing field.
• Proven experience in reliability engineering, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical industry, aerospace, or automotive.
• Familiarity with reliability analysis methods, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
• Certified Vibration CAT II will be given special consideration.
- Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, root cause analysis to assess complex systems and identify potential failure modes.
• Proficiency in using reliability tools and software for data analysis and predictive modeling.
- Technical Knowledge:
• In-depth knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including Weibull analysis, fault tree analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding statistical methods and tools for reliability prediction.
- Software Proficiency:
• Proficient in using reliability software tools such as ReliaSoft, BlockSim, or similar applications. as well as knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). Experience with SAP will be given special consideration.
- Risk Management:
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to continuously improve system reliability.
- Collaboration and Communication:
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams and present reliability findings to stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports.
- Safety and Regulatory Compliance:
• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations relevant to the industry
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations related to reliability engineering.
