Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee all water supply and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Control and monitor water quality, wastewater discharge, and treatment processes to meet legal and environmental standards.
• Plan, operate, and improve water treatment systems (e.g., RO, softener, filtration) and wastewater treatment processes (e.g., biological, chemical, physical systems).
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of treatment equipment, utilities, and related infrastructure.
• Develop and implement SOPs, preventive maintenance plans, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor system performance, analyze data, and prepare reports on water usage, treatment efficiency, and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate with production, QA/QC, and engineering teams to ensure adequate water supply and proper wastewater handling.
• Ensure full compliance with environmental laws, permits, and regulatory requirements related to water, air, and waste management.
• Lead environmental audits and inspections, ensuring readiness for both internal and external audits.
• Manage and supervise team members, including training and performance evaluation.
• Control operational costs, chemical usage, and resource consumption for optimal efficiency.
• Liaise with government authorities and external stakeholders regarding environmental compliance and reporting.
• Promote environmental awareness, sustainability practices, and safety within the organization.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment systems, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Valid license/certification for pollution control (water, air, and waste) is required.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in operating and maintaining water treatment systems (e.g., RO, EDI, biological treatment, sludge management).
• Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards and audit processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot system issues.
• Leadership and team management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Good communication skills in Thai and basic to intermediate English.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with monitoring systems or SCADA is a plus.
