Assistant Accounting Manager

- Payroll Management: to oversee the entire payroll process, guaranteeing that all employees are paid correctly and punctually. Managing salary payments, also accurately calculating overtime, bonuses, and deductions, ensuring that employees are compensated fairly and in accordance with labor laws.
- Account Payable and Receivable: To manage efficiently both the account payable and receivable, all transactions including payments to vendors and receipt of payments from customers, are correctly recorded and processed. To ensure a healthy cash flow and maintains good relationships with suppliers.
- Budget Preparation: To prepare the annual budget and provide forecasting for future financial needs. This involves analyzing historical financial data and predicting future expenses and revenues, helping the company plan and allocate resources effectively.
- Tax Compliance: To ensure the company meets all its tax obligations and complies with relevant tax laws. This involves preparing tax returns, submitting necessary documents, and staying up-to-date with the latest tax regulations, minimizing the risk of penalties and ensuring financial legality.
- Special Analyses: To undertake special financial analyses as required. This includes providing management with crucial insights about financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic planning, aiding in informed decision-making.
- Financial Operations: To oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring to run smoothly and efficiently. To ensure that all financial transactions are correctly recorded, and all financial data is accurate and up-to-date, contributing to the financial integrity of the organization.
- Accounting Methods and Policies: To establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles. This involves setting guidelines for how financial data should be recorded and reported, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- System Improvement Recommendations: To provide recommendations to improve financial systems and performance. To identify weaknesses in current systems and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy, driving financial optimization and system improvements.
- Financial Reports Preparation: To prepare timely and accurate financial reports, providing management with key financial data. These reports play a crucial role in decision-making processes, as they provided a clear picture of the company's financial health, enabling the leadership to make informed strategic decisions.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Several years of Accounting experience
- Strong leadership skills of effectively manage and guide the accounting team. This includes the ability to delegate tasks, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts, ensuring a functional and productive department.
- Excellent analytical abilities for understanding and interpreting complex financial data. Be able to identify patterns, trends, and implications in the financial data, providing valuable insights for the business.
- Proficiency in accounting software to efficiently manage and process financial transactions. This includes knowledge of various accounting software and platforms, and the ability to use them effectively, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
- Good ability to communicate in English both speaking and writing
- Experienced candidate in hospitality or travel business is preferred
