Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee assigned product portfolio, including product selection, sourcing, and category performance
- Identify and evaluate new products, suppliers, and business partners to expand product offerings
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities to support product strategy
- Plan and execute product strategies including pricing, positioning, and promotion
- Perform product costing and pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Develop and implement promotional plans to drive sales growth
- Monitor product performance, sales results, and inventory movement, and take action to optimize performance
- Manage product lifecycle from launch to phase-out, including product positioning and assortment planning
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Sales, Marketing, Graphic Design, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth product execution
- Support sales team with product knowledge, sales tools, and campaign execution
- Prepare reports on product performance, sales analysis, and market insights
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
- Background in Engineering, Science, or strong analytical fields is preferred
- 3–7 years of experience in Product Management, Merchandising, Category Management, or Buying
- Experience in power tools, hand tools, hardware, industrial equipment, or IT distribution is highly preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to perform costing, pricing, and margin analysis
- Good understanding of product, market trends, and customer needs
- Commercial mindset with ability to drive sales and profitability
- Strong coordination and communication skills across multiple functions
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple products simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pricing analysis, data analysis)
