Responsibilities
Month-End Closing & Financial Review
- Oversee and review the monthly closing process of assigned BUs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
- Validate accounting entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Analyze Profit & Loss statements and financial performance against targets.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
Business Performance Management
- Manage and monitor the daily financial and operational performance of assigned BUs.
- Provide BU with accurate and up-to-date financial data and insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure BU has the right information and guidance to achieve performance targets.
Forecasting & Budgeting
- Prepare short-term (1-year) forecasts and long-term (5-year) financial plans in line with business and corporate strategies.
- Compare forecasts with historical data and prior budgets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner with BU management to align financial forecasts with operational strategies.
Internal Controls & Process Improvement
- Ensure proper financial controls and compliance across reporting and analysis.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus
- 5–8 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, audit or accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., TFRS, IFRS)
- Proven experience in performance management, forecasting, and budgeting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to partner with business leaders and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and advanced Excel
- Strong command of English, both written and spoken (able to prepare reports, present, and communicate effectively in English)
