Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor for our Flexible Packaging plant in Khao Yoi, Phetchaburi. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team, optimize production processes, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the production line, managing a team of operators and technicians. Ensure that production schedules are met and that all team members are working effectively and efficiently.
Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality standards for all products. Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for staff.
Inventory Management: Coordinate with the inventory and procurement teams to ensure that materials and supplies are available as needed. Manage inventory levels to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the production process. Work with maintenance and engineering teams to address equipment malfunctions and other technical problems.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, quality control results, and any incidents. Prepare regular reports for the Production Manager and other senior management.
Team Development: Train, mentor, and develop production staff. Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the flexible packaging industry.
Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex production issues.
Proficient in using production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
