Responsibilities
Address: 11/1 Moo 4, Soi Pra-Apaimanee, Sukhumvit Road, T. Huayyang, A. Klaeng, Rayong
Key Responsibilities
· Lead technical improvement projects across molding, sanding, painting, clear coat and assembly processes.
· Investigate and eliminate pinholes, porosity, voids, delamination, print-through and composite surface defects.
· Own factory-wide rework reduction initiatives and defect prevention programs.
· Evaluate and qualify alternative fillers, putties, hardeners, coatings, primers and consumables.
· Develop and validate composite repair standards and process specifications.
· Perform Root Cause Analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone), DOE, FMEA and process capability studies.
· Establish process windows, engineering specifications and control parameters.
· Support supplier qualification, material approval and technical audits.
· Develop and maintain Work Instructions, Control Plans and engineering standards.
· Provide technical training to Production, QA/QC, IE and Engineering personnel.
· Support new product introduction and industrialization activities.
· Lead cross-functional cost reduction and process optimization projects.
Authority
· Approve composite process specifications and technical standards.
· Recommend process and material changes.
· Lead technical investigations and validation trials.
· Escalate quality risks and recommend process stoppage when significant quality concerns exist.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Materials Engineering, Composite Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
· Minimum 10 years experience in composite manufacturing or advanced materials processing.
· Experience with carbon fiber, fiberglass, resin systems, curing technologies and surface finishing.
· Experience in manufacturing environments focused on quality, productivity and process optimization.
· Strong understanding of paint systems, fillers, putties, coatings and defect prevention.
· Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional teams.
· Fluent English communication skills.
