Responsibilities
- Design & build APIs: Lead development of RESTful services using .NET (C#) and Minimal API, applying Clean Architecture across Domain, Application, Infrastructure, and Presentation layers.
- Architect event-driven workflows: Design Kafka producers, consumers, topics, and partitioning strategies; handle retries, idempotency, and dead-letter patterns.
- Own data & performance: Model and tune PostgreSQL (schemas, indexes, queries) and design Redis caching strategies (cache-aside, distributed locks, rate limiting).
- Ship with confidence: Containerize services with Docker, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and improve build/deploy reliability.
- Raise the bar: Lead code reviews, write ADRs, define coding standards, and drive automated testing (unit, integration, contract).
- Run things in production: Implement observability (logs, metrics, traces), participate in on-call, and lead root-cause analyses.
- Mentor the team: Coach junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, reviews, and tech talks.
- Collaborate across teams: Partner with Product, QA, and DevOps to break down requirements, estimate, and deliver iteratively.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years building production systems on .NET (.NET 6/7/8+) and C#.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering RESTful Web APIs (Minimal API or ASP.NET Core).
- Real-world experience applying Clean Architecture (or hexagonal / layered architectures) on production projects.
- Production experience with Apache Kafka — producers, consumers, partitioning, and event-driven patterns.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, query tuning, and migrations.\
- Experience using Redis for caching, distributed locks, or session/state management.
- Comfortable containerizing services with Docker and working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins).
- Strong grasp of SOLID, design patterns, automated testing (xUnit/NUnit, integration tests), and clean code practices.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical discussions in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Good written and verbal communication in English and Thai.
