Responsibilities
Job Summary
This role leads the development, validation, and deployment of innovative manufacturing techniques that enhance product capability, manufacturing flexibility, craftsmanship excellence, quality performance, and cost competitiveness across the jewelry production network.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore, evaluate, and develop new manufacturing techniques, technologies, and production methods to strengthen manufacturing capabilities
- Lead end-to-end development of new techniques from feasibility study, proof-of-concept, pilot trials, process validation, QCP, and PPAP until production release
- Collaborate with Product Development Jewelry (PDJ), T&I, Quality Management, and Manufacturing teams to identify future product-process requirements and technical solutions
- Define technical specifications, process standards, work instructions, equipment requirements, and training materials for new techniques
- Ensure new techniques are scalable, reproducible, and compatible with existing manufacturing systems and quality standards
- Support Atelier Studio and Model Making teams in developing advanced craftsmanship capabilities and unique product manufacturing solutions
- Monitor emerging industry technologies, benchmark best practices, and recommend future manufacturing innovations
- Build organizational capability through technical coaching, knowledge transfer, and engineering standardization
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Materials) or other related fields
- Experience in jewelry, product development ,product engineering , or other relevant industries is an advantage
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence in presenting ideas and concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Creative, curious, and passionate about innovation, especially in the early stages of product exploration and development
- Able to think conceptually and generate innovative ideas, product functions, and new product opportunities
- Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to conduct independent research, analyze findings, and propose new directions
- English proficiency in both written and spoken is a must
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project management or project leadership
- Basic experience using CAD software
- Familiarity with part assembling process is an advantage
- Understanding of design-for-manufacturing (DFM) concepts
