Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Credit Card Team Leader to lead and manage a team of sales representatives and direct sales agents (DSAs). This role is responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly credit card acquisition targets, focusing on the Taiwanese-speaking customer segment. The ideal candidate will drive team performance, ensure sales quality and compliance, and promote early activation and usage of newly acquired cards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve or exceed credit card acquisition targets
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and conversion rates
- Drive card activation and usage within the first 60 days after approval
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Identify skill gaps and organize training to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
- Foster a high-performance team culture with strong ethics and customer focus
2. Channel & Field Execution
- Supervise sales activities across branches, booths, partner locations, and direct sales channels
- Identify and develop new customer acquisition opportunities within the Taiwanese-speaking market (e.g., communities, associations, businesses, and events)
- Build and maintain partnerships with merchants and organizations serving Taiwanese customers
- Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards (e.g., KYC, AML, BOT guidelines)
- Coordinate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations) to support campaigns and sales initiatives
- Review applications to improve approval rates and minimize errors or fraud
- Escalate any suspicious or non-compliant activities to management promptly
3. Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Track and report daily and weekly sales performance at both individual and team levels
- Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Provide insights on competitor activities and customer feedback to management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in credit card, lending or consumer finance sales.
- Minimum 1–2 years of team management experience (Team Leader / Senior Sales role).
- Strong background in field sales, DSA management, or branch-based acquisition.
- Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of credit card products, credit policies, sales compliance and direct knowledge in managing cards issuing business would be advantaged.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
