Responsibilities
Collateral Appraisal
• Responsible for evaluating and determining the accurate market value of assets pledged as collateral to support risk-based lending decisions and credit approval processes.
• Ensures that all collateral assessments comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Maintain updated knowledge of valuation techniques, appraisal standards, and relevant financial regulations.
Ensure that all collateral documentation is complete, compliant, and accurately recorded in the bank’s system.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Collateral Appraisal , Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Collateral Appraisal
• Have knowledge of administrative operations and documentation procedures.
• Basic understanding of asset valuation, collateral appraisal processes, or financial-related workflows (training acceptable).
• Good organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal and external parties
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with appraisal systems or database management is an advantage.
