Data Engineer - บริษัท ฟิลลิปประกันชีวิต จำกัด (มหาชน)

• Contribute to the development and support of the new enterprise data platform.

• Build and maintain ETL processes to support day-to-day data integration and platform operations.

• Assist with onboarding new data sources and enhancements to existing pipelines.

2. ETL Development & Database Engineering

• Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines using SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, transformations, and stored procedures to support reporting and analytics needs.

• Support basic performance tuning activities, including query optimization and batch job scheduling.

3. Data Quality & Governance Support

• Implement and execute data quality checks and validation rules as part of ETL processes.

• Assist in maintaining data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across datasets.

• Follow established data governance, security, and compliance standards, particularly those relevant to the insurance domain.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Support

• Work closely with Data, Business, and Development teams to understand requirements and support data integration needs.

• Participate in discussions around data models, mappings, and transformation logic.

• Provide day-to-day technical support related to ETL and database topics.

5. Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor ETL jobs and support routine production issues, escalating complex problems when required.

• Participate in testing, UAT, and release activities by validating data outputs.

• Document ETL logic, data flows, and operational procedures.

• Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance automation, reliability, and efficiency of data processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

• 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence roles.

• Strong experience working with large datasets and relational data models.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL (MySQL is a plus).

• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT processes using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Airflow, or similar.

• Experience using BI and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Basic experience with Python, R, or similar languages for data analysis is an advantage.

• Understanding of insurance data, including policy, claims, or financial reporting, is preferred.
