Responsibilities
1. TOPVALU Import & Sourcing Management
- Be responsible for the import of TOPVALU Own Brand products from suppliers and TOPVALU Japan.
- Coordinate with TOPVALU Japan and TOPVALU Thailand regarding product selection, specifications, pricing, and import planning.
- Negotiate product costs, commercial terms, and Incoterms in alignment with MaxValu’s target GP% and MG%.
2. Cross-Border & AEON Group Collaboration
- Collaborate with AEON TOPVALU Japan and Thailand in selecting and developing new products for the Thai market.
- Coordinate internally with Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics, and Finance teams within AEON Thailand.
- Ensure all operations comply with AEON Group policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
3. Regulatory Affairs & FDA Registration
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs and FDA PIC to monitor and manage FDA registration status.
- Verify the readiness of documentation, labeling translations, and compliance with Thai regulatory requirements.
- Ensure that all SKUs are fully approved for importation and lawful distribution in Thailand.
4. Product Costing & Commercial Analysis
- Perform end-to-end product costing and cost structure analysis.
- Evaluate and propose estimated retail prices, GP%, and MG% in accordance with MaxValu’s pricing structure.
- Analyze margin and profitability impacts prior to new product proposals.
5. New Product Proposal & Presentation
- Prepare new import product proposals for TOPVALU products.
- Present new product proposals to Management and/or Merchandising Committees.
- Clearly communicate product unique selling points (USP), pricing, and margin structure.
6. Import Planning, Logistics & Inventory Control
- Develop annual and monthly shipping schedules.
- Coordinate with the Logistics PIC to control lead times and transportation costs.
- Monitor weekly sales performance and inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock and overstock situations.
7. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor sales performance and overall performance of TOPVALU products.
- Continuously improve import processes, registration workflows, and cross-functional collaboration efficiency.
- Provide regular performance reports and updates to management.
Qualifications
- Age 35–45
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, Food Science or related fields)
- Industry Exposure: Retail, FMCG, Food, Private Label (preferred)
- Working Experience
- 5–10+ years of experience in Import–Export operations
- Knowledge of FDA registration and regulatory compliance
- Experience working with overseas stakeholders (Japan / Regional HQ) (Japan / Regional HQ) จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ
- Strong understanding of product costing, GP%, MG%, and retail pricing structure
