1. EHS Strategy & Culture:
Support deployment of Eaton's MESH (Management System for Environment, Safety and Health) requirements and initiatives. Promote a proactive Zero Harm culture through leadership engagement, employee involvement, and behavioral safety programs. Facilitate EHS committees, safety teams, and employee participation initiatives. Support site leadership in integrating EHS objectives into daily operations and business decisions. Lead EHS awareness campaigns and culture-building activities.
2. Risk Management & Hazard Control:
Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses, ergonomics assessments, and environmental aspect-impact evaluations. Identify critical risks and implement appropriate control measures using the hierarchy of controls. Monitor effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation. Track, trend, and communicate leading and lagging EHS indicators.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with applicable Thai laws and regulations related to: Occupational Safety, Health and Working Environment, Environmental Protection, Hazardous Materials Management, Fire Prevention and Emergency Response, Industrial Waste Management, Monitor changes in legal requirements and communicate impacts to leadership. Support regulatory inspections and audits. Maintain permits, licenses, statutory reports, and compliance documentation.
4. Environmental Sustainability & ESG:
Support plant environmental sustainability objectives. Monitor environmental performance including, Energy consumption, Water consumption, Waste generation, Greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. Coordinate waste management programs and pollution prevention activities. Support ESG reporting and sustainability projects as required.
5. Occupational Health & Employee Wellbeing:
Coordinate occupational health surveillance programs. Support industrial hygiene assessments including; Noise monitoring, Chemical exposure assessments, Ergonomic evaluations, Indoor air quality monitoring, promote employee wellbeing programs covering physical, mental, and workplace health. Collaborate with HR and plant leadership on wellbeing initiatives.
6. Emergency Preparedness & Business Continuity:
Develop and maintain emergency response plans. Coordinate emergency drills and crisis response exercises. Ensure emergency equipment inspections, maintenance, and readiness. Support business continuity and risk mitigation planning. Act as EHS coordinator during incidents and emergencies.
7. MESH & Management Systems:
Maintain compliance with Eaton MESH requirements. Support ISO management systems implementation and certification activities, including; ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Coordinate internal audits and management reviews. Ensure timely closure of audit findings and corrective actions. Facilitate MESH assessments and action plan execution.
8. EHS Training & Capability Development:
Develop and maintain EHS training matrix. Deliver EHS orientation and regulatory-required training. Ensure competency development for employees, contractors, and visitors. Coach supervisors and leaders on EHS responsibilities and accountability.
Evaluate training effectiveness and identify development opportunities.
9. Contractor & Visitor Safety Management:
Implement contractor EHS management programs. Conduct contractor safety orientation and performance monitoring. Ensure contractor compliance with site EHS requirements. Support safe management of projects, construction, and maintenance activities.
10. Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
Manage EHS data through MESH Suite and applicable reporting systems. Maintain accurate reporting of: Injuries and illnesses, Near misses, Environmental metrics, Risk assessments, Corrective actions, Analyze trends and develop improvement recommendations. Participate in Eaton Business System (EBS) and continuous improvement initiatives.
