Responsibilities

Performing a technical, organizational and supervisory on construction project.
Working as part of the site management team liaising with the contractor.
Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy.
Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as specifications.
Managing and monitoring the construction documents.
Day-to-day management of the site.
Overseeing quality control.
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
Undertaking overview supervision duties on site to ensure general compliance of the works with contract drawings / specification.
Address deficiencies with contract drawings / specification.
Coordinate all aspects of the Construction / material submittals, review and approvals.
Report on a daily basis to the Construction / Project Manager on all activities occurred on site.
Prepare Snag lists and follow up remedial works.
Inspect the final acceptance of the work.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Architect
Minimum of 5 years experience as site architect / inspector providing services to high rise building
Able and willing to travel upcountry
