As Production Manager, you will lead the planning and control of the entire production process, ensuring targets for quantity, quality, and cost are consistently met. A key aspect of this role involves monitoring and controlling defect, rework, and scrap rates within target limits, alongside managing the maintenance of machinery, molds, and production equipment to ensure continuous operational readiness. You will drive automation initiatives and implement continuous improvements to enhance production efficiency. This position also entails managing development projects and testing for new products and molds, coordinating closely with design teams, QA, and customers for new product approval processes such as PPAP. Furthermore, you will lead and manage your team, set clear targets, and foster the development of your subordinates' capabilities, while championing cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities like Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
