Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations
- Perform General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) accounting activities.
- Review and verify supporting documents before recording accounting transactions.
- Prepare and record journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, adjustments, accounts payable, and payment transactions.
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing processes
- Prepare and review adjusting entries
- Perform account reconciliations (GL and accounts reconciliation)
- Prepare supporting schedules for financial reports
- Conduct basic analysis of account movements
- Support tax filings such as VAT and Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 0–1 year of accounting experience (Fresh graduates are welcome)
- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinking skills
- Effective time management with the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong initiative and a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to propose and present innovative ideas
- Good command of English (equivalent to TOEIC 550 or above) is required.
