Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects from planning through successful implementation, ensuring project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality targets are achieved.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, milestones, action plans, and risk management activities.
- Coordinate factory relocation, production transfer, equipment installation, commissioning, trial production, and Start of Production (SOP) activities.
- Manage customer projects related to New Model Launch, Engineering Changes (ECN/ECR), and production transfer.
- Coordinate APQP and PPAP activities, including preparation and submission of all required documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, Capability Studies, and customer-specific requirements.
- Serve as the key coordinator among customers, headquarters, suppliers, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and provide regular project status reports to management.
- Drive Productivity & Cost Reduction (PCR) projects through process optimization, waste elimination, and efficiency improvement.
- Lead Quality Improvement initiatives by analyzing production and quality data, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement activities throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Logistics, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure successful project execution.
- Support the implementation of manufacturing systems, process standardization, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Perform other assignments related to project management and business improvement as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Production Engineering, or Continuous Improvement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, AIAG Core Tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC), IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality systems, and project management methodologies.
- Experience in Productivity Improvement, Cost Reduction (PCR), Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement projects.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a cross-functional and multicultural environment.
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); Microsoft Project, Power BI, or other project management software is a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and travel domestically or internationally when required.
- Experience in the automotive industry, especially Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, is preferred.
- Experience in factory relocation, production transfer, machine installation, new model launch, or plant expansion is an advantage.
