Overall job purpose:

• Coordinate import sea freight shipments from cargo arrival through delivery arrangements. 
• Prepare and maintain import shipment documentation accurately and timely. 
• Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas offices, customers and internal departments to ensure efficient shipment execution. 
• Ensure import operations comply with company procedures and applicable regulations. 
• Support operational excellence and customer satisfaction through effective shipment coordination.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Sea Freight Import Operations. 
• Knowledge of import documentation and shipping procedures. 
• Good communication and coordination skills. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and freight operating systems. 
• Good command of written and spoken English. 
• Able to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Main tasks and key responsibilities:

• Coordinate import shipment arrivals with shipping lines, overseas offices and relevant service providers. 
• Prepare, verify and distribute import shipment documentation in accordance with company procedures. 
• Monitor shipment status and coordinate cargo release and delivery arrangements. 
• Coordinate with customers, Customs team (where applicable) and internal departments regarding shipment requirements. 
• Resolve operational issues and escalate significant matters where necessary. 
• Update shipment information accurately in the operating system. 
• Maintain effective working relationships with shipping lines, overseas offices and business partners. 
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, Quality Management System requirements and applicable regulations. 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Sea Freight Manager.
