As Chief Estimator, you will lead and assign estimation tasks to your team, meticulously checking project specifications and requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing quantity and cost planning for both direct work (building, external, renovation) and indirect work (temporary, site expenses), as well as scrutinizing supplier quotations, including specifications, installation methods, delivery, and negotiation. Your role involves combining Bills of Quantities (BOQ) with M&E and other related works, collecting essential data on unit costs and structural quantity ratios. You will prepare comprehensive cost examination sheets and comparison sheets with other projects, and present and explain estimation costs to management. Furthermore, you will collaborate and coordinate effectively with other sections to ensure accuracy and consistency across all estimations.
