Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food Ingredient Lab Supervisor to oversee laboratory operations, ensure product quality, and support research and development activities. The role involves managing lab staff, maintaining testing standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Supervise daily laboratory operations and testing of food ingredients
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of lab results
- Manage and develop lab technicians and staff
- Maintain compliance with food safety standards (e.g., GMP, HACCP, ISO)
- Coordinate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams
- Review and validate test results and reports
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in lab processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in food laboratory or quality control
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Good communication in English (written and spoken)
