Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Plan and execute Maintenance related activities on tooling used for manufacturing of the product, in coordination with immediate superior to ensure all Manufacturing Plans are executed smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and guide a group of Technicians in the section and follow up tooling related activities in the department.
  • Track tooling & Machine performance to ensure KPI commitments are maintained & Improved.
  • To ensure Tooling is always maintained in excellent condition and improve die and machine utilization and quality of product. 
  • Keep record of tooling maintenance - through implementation of Documents.
  • Proper and timely feedback to immediate superior for - function, quality, repair ang maintenance difficulties of tooling.
  • Optimizing new tooling and design and give feedback to concerned departments.
  • Review and analyze quality issues of running product and debug problems on tooling.
  • Develop tool setup procedure and implement standard practices.
  • Maintain tool history and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Initiate and follow up corrective actions on quality issues, process improvements and design improvements.
  • Improve Working Methods, House Keeping and Discipline in the Shop Floor. Practice safe Working Methods and handling of Tooling and Equipments. (Lean Activities)
  • Perform other duties and assume accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education Required: Bachelor Degree in related Engineering field. 
Skill Required:                  
  • Effective Management and Communication Skill.
  • Must be a good team worker and should be able to motivate the entire team 
Experience: 6-8 years.
