Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of the company's web platforms - the consumer e-commerce site (including a real-time 3D print pricing engine) and the B2B product catalogue and lead generation site.
- Work directly with the sales, accounting, warehouse and service teams to gather requirements, understand how the business actually operates, and turn manual processes into systems that reduce duplicated work.
- Design the system architecture, set the technical roadmap, and run code reviews for the team.
- Design and build AI agents for sales, customer service and internal operations - agent architecture, prompt engineering, tool and function calling, RAG and vector databases, evaluation and cost control.
- Extend and maintain internal systems, including the company ERP and our n8n automation workflows.
- Integrate third-party APIs: LLM providers, payment gateways, logistics carriers, LINE OA and Microsoft 365.
- Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex in VS Code) as a core part of your daily workflow to ship faster, while keeping full control over code quality and security.
- Own deployment, CI/CD, performance and security on our Linux VPS infrastructure.
- Liaise with overseas suppliers and partners on system integration and technical documentation.
- Mentor our mid-level developer and help grow the engineering team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field - or a portfolio that clearly demonstrates equivalent ability.
- 4+ years of professional web application development experience.
- Strong grasp of business process - sales, procurement, inventory and after-sales service. You can analyse an operational problem, redesign the workflow, and explain it clearly to non-technical users.
- Professional working English - spoken, reading and written. You will run meetings and handle email correspondence with international partners on your own.
- Strong command of JavaScript / TypeScript, Node.js and React or Next.js.
- Comfortable with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Redis, Docker and Git.
- Experience deploying and operating applications on Linux VPS (nginx, PM2 or equivalent).
- Real, shipped experience building AI agents or LLM applications - you understand prompt engineering, tool calling, RAG, and where models fall short.
- You use AI coding assistants daily in production work and can explain how you work with them to produce high-quality output.
- A GitHub profile or portfolio we can review.
- Nice to have: e-commerce or real-time price calculation systems; a Business Analyst or Solution Architect background alongside development; Python and open-source ERP systems; n8n or comparable workflow automation tools; multi-agent systems, MCP (Model Context Protocol) or agent orchestration frameworks; understanding of 3D printing, CAD or 3D model file formats (STL, 3MF).
