Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise maintenance activities for Die Bonder and Wire Bonder equipment.
- Ensure machine availability, reliability, and performance meet production requirements.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective maintenance (CM).
- Monitor MTBF, MTTR, and machine downtime performance.
- Analyze machine breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions.
- Support production in resolving equipment-related issues affecting yield, quality, and productivity.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.
- Improve machine stability to reduce defects such as ball lift, NSOP, wire sweep, and die placement errors.
- Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering (PE), and Quality teams to improve equipment performance.
- Support Design of Experiments (DOE) and process optimization activities.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Units Per Hour (UPH), and yield performance.
- Standardize machine setup, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Manage spare parts inventory and critical spare availability.
- Control maintenance costs and optimize equipment operating expenses.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers for technical support and service activities.
- Lead and develop maintenance technicians and engineers.
- Assign daily maintenance activities and monitor work completion.
- Provide technical coaching and skill development programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain maintenance records and machine history.
- Prepare downtime analysis and monthly maintenance reports.
- Establish maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), PM checklists, and troubleshooting manuals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Die Bonding and Wire Bonding processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience in a supervisory role with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
