Responsibilities
• Plan and manage procurement activities for all types of raw materials in line with company needs.
• Establish KPIs for subordinates based on assigned responsibilities and product categories.
• Guide and supervise the purchasing team to source suppliers and manufacturers both domestically and internationally.
• Evaluate and compare quotations to ensure alignment with technical specifications and requirements at competitive pricing.
• Review and utilize tax benefits in cases involving international purchases.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal conditions.
• Ensure all procurement processes adhere to company standards, with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to continuously assess the performance of suppliers and manufacturers.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of goods in accordance with procurement plans.
• Provide Japanese interpretation support during meetings, such as new model meetings, production damage meetings, quality improvement meetings, and Japanese supplier meetings.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and Japanese interpretation preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Skill in Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1-N2 or above preferred) and English.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
