• Manage and control daily operations of the Sample Engineering Department.

• Coordinate sample development activities to meet customer requirements, project schedules, and production plans.

• Develop, review, and maintain paper patterns, templates, and modelling standards.

• Standardize and optimize fabric cutting methods, material utilization, and waste reduction processes.

• Create, maintain, and improve production routings and manufacturing process flows.

• Prepare and control work instructions for cutting, sewing, assembly, and textile-related operations.

• Conduct time studies and establish standard times for costing, capacity planning, and productivity improvement.

• Monitor material consumption standards and support cost reduction initiatives.

• Analyze manufacturing efficiency, manpower utilization, and process performance.

• Support new product introduction (NPI), engineering changes, trial production, and process validation.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for textile, sewing, and manufacturing processes.

• Coordinate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, IE, Planning, Warehouse, Purchasing, R&D, and Technical teams.

• Ensure compliance with quality systems, ISO requirements, company procedures, and engineering standards.

• Drive continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, waste reduction, and productivity enhancement.

• Maintain engineering records, technical documentation, routing data, and audit-related reports.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Bachelor’s Degree

• For Junior level, welcome fresh graduate directly from Textile Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Material Engineer for fabrication.

• Knowledge in manufacturing process development, time study, standard time establishment, and material consumption control.

• Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes, including cutting, sewing, foam handling, assembly, and efficient material utilization.

• Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Rhinoceros, and other relevant engineering/design software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

• Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Conversational mid - high level in English (Coordinate with French R&D team / Report to French FM / Interview in English)

• Good understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM), production routing systems, and engineering document control is preferred

• Proven experience in sample room management, pattern development, modelling, production routing, work instruction preparation, and industrial engineering activities is preferred

• Experience or knowledge in automotive, motorcycle helmet, composite product, or related manufacturing industries is highly preferred 

• Experience or knowledge in New Product Introduction (NPI), trial production, and engineering change implementation is preferred

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Industrial Engineering principles is preferred

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and structured product development processes is highly preferred

Workplace Area: Klaeng, Rayong

Working Hour: 8:00-17:00 (Monday - Friday / Saturday working: Everage 2 Sat per month *Depends on company calendar)
