<Job responsibilities>

1. Business Development
- Gain more revenue and profit for the Ocean freight business, both new customers and managing existing clients.
- Respond to quotations and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Visit current and new customers, establish, and maintain good relationships with customers and overseas agents.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and overseas agents.
2. Ocean Freight Operation
- Control the issuance of documents for Ocean freight such as HAWB, MAWB, HBL, Billing Invoice, and Cost sheet.
- Interface with the department to ensure timely and accurate Service and/or pricing is provided to the customer.
- Oversee and solve NVOCC problems and respond to claim letters.
3. Cost, Profit & Rate Management
- Check and Negotiate Ocean freight rates with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
- Control the Cost and profit of the Ocean freight department.
- Review and evaluate shipping line performance towards maximum performance and Cost savings.
4. Team Management & People Management
- Recruit and interview new staff.
- Hold section Monthly meetings.
- Rotate clients on hand among staff.
- Control and Manage the team to achieve the target.
- Set and Oversee KPI in the team.
5. Reporting & Business Analysis
- Oversee and Manage the Monthly sales report.
- Manage NVOCC, import/export analysis and statistics.
- Analyze the Cost, revenue, and profit of the Ocean freight department.
6. Other tasks as assigned by the Management.

<Necessary Skill / Experience>

- Thai nationality, Male, Female, age 35 - 37 years old
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales, Export NVOCC, connections with shipping lines, shipping line routing, and  shipping lines' trade lanes from a freight forwarder company
- At least 2 years of experience as a supervisor or assistant manager with subordinates
- Experiences in Cost, Profit & Rate Management
- Conversational to High level in English (Communicate with Japanese Management, emails, reports, and documents)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting and analysis), e-customs, freight systems, or ERP (e.g., SAP)
- Able to work independently under pressure with tight deadlines
- Responsible, Honest, Fast learner, good attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team

<Preferable Skill / Experience>

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or any related field
- Experience in operational work i.e. Break Bulk, RoRo, OOG, Tank Container, Dangerous Goods, Bill of entry
- Experience in a Japanese company

Workplace Area: BTS Surasak
Working Hour: 8:30-17:15 (Monday - Friday, Saturday Working: 4 Saturdays per year (08:30 – 17:00 (depends on team))
