Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and manage the end-to-end annual budgeting process, consolidating and reviewing both Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) across all departments.
- Collaborate closely with business units to evaluate CAPEX proposals (ROI/NPV/Payback Period) and OPEX allocations, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and strategic objectives.
- Analyze financial performance against budget (OPEX/CAPEX Budget vs. Actual) and present variance analysis with actionable recommendations to executive management.
- Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly performance reports, highlighting cost drivers and capital deployment tracking for stakeholders.
- Prepare rolling financial forecasts and long-term business plans, integrating CAPEX depreciation impact and OPEX trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models for performance evaluation, scenario planning, and investment feasibility studies.
- Monitor, track, and control OPEX utilization and CAPEX execution across departments to enforce cost-effectiveness and prevent budget overruns.
- Provide financial insights, risk assessments, and advisory support to cross-functional teams regarding cost optimization and capital investment strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, or financial analysis.
- At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance principles, and corporate budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP or budgeting systems.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in strategic financial planning or automated budgeting systems is a plus.
