Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Senior Data Engineer in the R&D team, you will design, build, and maintain internal tools and automation systems that support daily operations across the company. You'll work hands-on with technologies like Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AppSheet, and custom APIs.
We are also actively working on Generative AI projects, creating intelligent tools that support internal operations and enhance customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to contribute to these AI-driven initiatives as part of your role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines (ETL/ELT) to consolidate, transform, and present data from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
- Ensure data quality, improve accuracy, and manage access control and data governance across departments.
- Develop and maintain internal applications and tools using AppSheet and containerized services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Integrate internal and external services via APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain SQL-based reports and data views to support both operational and strategic initiatives.
- Support internal users through debugging, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements to internal tools.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in Python development, automation, or internal tooling
- Proficient in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with APIs, automation, or cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
- Ability to translate business workflows into working applications or scripts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable collaborating with non-technical stakeholders
