Responsibilities
1、Provide technical engineering expertise for new model projects. Consistently identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
2、Develop and execute activities/tasks to achieve strategic objectives. Collect data and apply business knowledge to solve a range of problems. Effectively lead project themes.
3、Demonstrate technical proficiency, with expertise on some topics, within technical area.
4、Evaluate drawings at each phase, Design change confirmation (DCMS).
5、Develop and monitor new model project budgets for investment and expense
6、Develop and report new model evaluation materials at key stages of the project, Lead department DCMS meeting
7、Develop and distribute new model change points to the department
8、Lead safety, quality and process builds for new model development
9、Monitor equipment changes and fill out proper documentation
10、Prepare, communicate and control new model events through pre-production, Daily communication with sub-groups to confirm projects/tasks are being completed on schedule
11、Monitor incoming design changes, Confirm associate training events, Review process layout
Qualifications
1、Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
2、Excellent in English or Chinese
3、Work experience, minimum 3-10 years as new model engineer in Automotive industrial
4、Good knowledge of ISO /IATF16949, PPAP, APQP
Good technical knowledge and technician skills
Good knowledge of customer requirement
5、Knowledge of the manufacturing environment (Injection, Painting, Chroming etc,)
6、Possesses interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
7、Ability to read drawings.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
Ability to work independently.
