Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Product Innovation (NPD): Drive the end-to-end development of new juice and beverage products, from conceptualization and lab-scale formulation to sensory evaluation and final launch.
Cost Leadership & Reformulation: Execute strategic cost-saving initiatives (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) by optimizing formulas and sourcing alternative ingredients without compromising quality or taste profiles.
Executive & Stakeholder Management: Act as a key technical advisor to the executive team, translating business goals into technical requirements and providing regular progress updates on critical projects.
Factory Process Integration: Oversee the transition from lab to mass production (Scale-up). Work closely with the production team to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and optimize process efficiency (e.g., Cold Chain, Aseptic, or Hot-fill systems).
Regulatory & Compliance Excellence: Ensure all products comply with local (Thai FDA) and international food laws (Codex, USFDA, etc.). Manage nutritional labeling, health claims, and certifications such as HALAL, GMP, and HACCP.
Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of global beverage trends, functional ingredients, and sustainable packaging technologies to keep the brand competitive.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Beverage R&D, specifically focused on Juice products (100% juice, RTD, or functional beverages).At least 3–5 years in a management role leading a technical team.Proven experience in Cost Reduction projects with measurable financial impact.
- Technical Skills: * Expertise in ingredient functionality, stability testing, and shelf-life extension.Strong knowledge of beverage manufacturing technology and factory workflows.Comprehensive understanding of domestic and international beverage regulations.
- Soft Skills: * Excellent leadership and people management skills.Strategic thinking with a "business-owner" mindset.Strong presentation skills, capable of communicating complex technical data to non-technical executives.
