Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • BS in mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
  • 3 years or above relevant experience in quality.
  • Good standard written and spoken English.
  • Good communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and pro-actively.
  • Work in power tool or mechanical industry is an advantage.

In this Quality Engineer role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring product quality throughout the development and release lifecycle. You will participate in new product development, preparing product documents, and conducting process audits during the NPD phase. Your responsibilities will include leading or participating in product qualification testing and taking the lead in product release. You will also handle per shipment inspections and ongoing reliability tests, while supporting customer or design change processes and addressing customer complaints. Active interaction with suppliers to drive product and quality system improvements will be a key aspect of this position, which is ideal for professionals with 3+ years of quality experience and a background in mechanical engineering, leveraging strong communication and proactive work ethic.
