Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager and HR Manager to propose innovative ideas, analyze logistics costs (freight, warehousing, customs clearance), and design financial frameworks to drive business growth.
- Supervise and implement financial policies, overseeing accounting and finance operations for both the Bangkok and Laem Chabang branches to ensure operational consistency.
- Monitor and audit cash receipt and payment systems for both branches, overseeing Accounts Receivable collections and Accounts Payable disbursements to shipping lines, airlines, and subcontractors.
- Manage operational cash reserves for immediate on-site logistics expenses (e.g., port charges, customs duties, container lifting fees), ensuring high liquidity and transparency.
- Partner with the HR Manager on headcount budgeting, personnel cost structures, and resource allocation aligned with the company’s financial health.
- Prepare and submit accurate financial statements, cash flow reports, and profitability analyses (by branch/job) to the Finance Headquarters in China within strict deadlines and group standards.
- Adopt, enforce, and strictly implement internal control policies, credit limits, and risk management guidelines dictated by the China Headquarters.
- Act as the primary liaison to handle, clarify, and execute overseas remittances, agent settlements, and cross-border financial transactions with the China Headquarters.
Qualifications
- A continuous learning mindset with a proactive approach to challenging routine operations and designing improved business workflows.
- High integrity and meticulous attention to detail, essential for monitoring cashier activities and high-volume cash/transfer transactions in the logistics sector.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to the Laem Chabang branch in Chonburi for on-site audits and management.
- Prior financial management experience; experience in the logistics industry is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of logistics financial workflows, including billing, credit terms, shipping line settlements, port charges, and collection cycles.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a financial or accounting supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent business-level English proficiency for reporting, presentations, and management-level collaboration.
- Fluent communication in Chinese (Mandarin) for managing primary reporting lines and technical financial alignment with China HQ is highly preferred.
