Senior Purchasing Officer - บริษัท ซูชิ เอ็กซ์เพรส (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด

·       Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing from local and international suppliers, including salmon, food, non-food products, and restaurant supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and review shipping and import documents for accuracy.
• Support customs clearance and FDA applications for new imported products.
• Source new food products according to marketing plans, menu launches, and business requirements.
• Monitor stock balances, expiry dates, and product usage to prevent shortages, overstock, and expired items.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse team and resolve purchasing, stock, and delivery issues based on warehouse reports.
• Plan and coordinate logistics to ensure products are delivered accurately and on time.
• Prepare salmon price, usage, cost-comparison, and purchasing reports.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Maintain supplier records, purchase orders, import documents, and purchasing data accurately.
• Support the Purchasing Manager in supplier evaluation, cost-saving initiatives, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Food Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of purchasing or supply-chain experience.
• Experience in food importing and international purchasing is required.
• Experience in the Japanese food or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping documents, FDA procedures, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good analytical, calculation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with BC365 or other ERP systems is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and able to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
