Responsibilities

Manages and analyzes an organization's financial data to ensure stability and profitability by developing budgets, creating financial reports, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, include financial planning and analysis, maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoices and payments, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and calculating data to develop business forecasts, budget planning, business plan, risk and litigation analysis.
  • Work on daily finance operations, including but not limited to outgoing/incoming funds
  • Knowledge of withholding tax and VAT.
  • Monitoring daily cash flow and managing cash flow, including a cash flow forecast.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts, and financial models.
  • Monitor budget performance and control expenditures.
  • Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting
  • Accurately record all financial transactions, both manual and computerized.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss accounts.
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Transaction Processing
  • Process invoices, payments, and bills, including utility expenses.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and track bank deposits.
  • Compliance & Audits
  • Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained according to standard practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial decisions with business strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is typically required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in finance, especially cashflow and reconciliation.
  • Strong background in MS Office, especially in Excel and any financial software
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management and strong ethics, particularly concerning confidential data.
  • Decision-making and strategic planning abilities.
