Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for the in-depth investigation of complex security incidents escalated from Tier 1.
- Execute Incident Response procedures to contain damage (Containment), eliminate threats (Eradication), and restore systems (Recovery).
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to determine the origin of cyber attacks.
- Perform Malware Analysis and Digital Forensics to identify vulnerabilities and determine the scope of impact.
- Proactively engage in Threat Hunting utilizing Threat Intelligence.
- Provide technical guidance and act as a mentor to SOC Tier 1 analysts.
- Develop, refine, and optimize Playbooks, Use Cases, and Detection Rules on SIEM/SOAR platforms to enhance detection efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive Incident Reports and conduct Post-Incident Reviews.
- Coordinate with vendors and the IT Infrastructure team to resolve issues and remediate system vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Male or Female, age 23 years and above, in good physical health.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or Incident Response.
- Deep understanding of attack techniques (TTPs) and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
- Expertise in Log analysis, Network Traffic analysis (Packet Analysis), Digital Forensics, and Malware Analysis.
- Possess technical certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent.
- Good command of spoken, read, and written English (to effectively analyze and comprehend international threat reports).
- Ability to perform effectively and make critical decisions under high pressure.
