Responsibilities
- Oversee overall production department management, coordinating internal and external resources to ensure on-time, high-quality order delivery that meets customer demand.
- Manage daily production operations, collaborating with planning, process engineering, and quality teams, and arranging internal resources to ensure customer delivery and continuous improvement in production efficiency.
- Develop daily production plans based on master schedules, preparing necessary manpower, materials, tooling, and other production staff.
- Respond promptly to production issues, track their resolution in a timely manner, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Manage product delivery processes, maintain accurate records in the SAP system for inbound and outbound movements, and compile daily, weekly, and monthly production data and reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Safety, 5S practices, process quality, shopfloor management procedures, and manufacturing cost reduction.
- Participate in planning for manpower evaluation, tooling demand, and material issues based on rolling forecasts or customer demand.
- Develop talent, improve performance, facilitate multi-skills training, and build organizational capabilities within the production team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production operations management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to communicate proficiently in English (verbal and written).
- Patience and meticulous attention to tasks.
- Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) or equivalent tools like Google Sheets and WPS Office.
- Knowledge of 5S principles.
