Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and strong Factory Manager to oversee full-scale factory operations. This role requires solid leadership and a proven track record in managing multi-functional departments within an industrial manufacturing environment. The Factory Manager will be responsible for Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Assurance and Planning, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

1. Manage and oversee all operations of the new factory (Production, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance, Safety and Environment) to achieve established business and quality objectives.
2. Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards
3. Project Lead for the New Factory
4. Lead, develop, and enhance the capabilities of factory personnel, ensuring they possess the necessary knowledge and skills for working with advanced technology.
5. Oversee and optimize the utilization of the specialized glass-industry ERP system and the MES (Manufacturing Execution System), ensuring complete and seamless integration and interoperability with machinery and automation equipment.
6. Analyze production data regularly to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and innovation.
7. Cultivate and promote a work culture focused on safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or MBA.
• Previous working experience as a Business Unit Manager for 10 years
• At least 5 years’ experience in Management level.
• Proven work experience as a Business Unit Manager/Pant Manager
• Proven managerial experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, Human resources, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Experience in Factory Establishment: Direct experience in planning, establishing, and commencing operations of a new factory (Greenfield Project) or experience in a significant plant expansion involving the implementation of new technology (Significant Brownfield Project) will be highly prioritized/considered an exceptionally strong asset.
• Technological Expertise: Deep knowledge and understanding of modern manufacturing technologies, industrial automation, Robotics, Industrial IoT (IIoT), and efficient production processes. (Experience in the glass or building materials industry is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Digital Systems Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System)
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
• Fluent in English Communication
