Responsibilities
Report to: Product Manager
Work location: Bangna-Trad KM. 21
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Thailand market in Volvo and UD Trucks Product specification/Technical support to Sales team about possibilities and recommended specifications for both Standard and Non-standard specifications. Support in Non-standard trucks ordering and follow-up CA answer from TSSC team.
- Responsible for Volvo and UD Product training including material preparation to Sales team. Constant product update for Sales team by creating Product Newsletter according to Product updates information (Intro Block) 4 times a year.
- Prepare market introduction of new models, new regulation and competitors updates.
- Responsible for body builders training materials and training.
- Responsible for trucks homologation / Vehicle Type Approval with Department of Land Transport for new models.
- Responsible in request of Safety parts import license and Engine Certification with Thai Industrial Standard Institute (TISI)
- Visiting Customers and Bodybuilders regularly to give consultant on truck specification and body building.
- Conducting road survey to define correct truck specification. Give feedback from market demand to Product Manager.
- Coordinate / support Marketing material such as product specification and creating local leaflet & brochures and support marketing event such as product roadshow both Volvo and UD Trucks brand.
- Work with cross functional and able to advise PDI team for local adaptation and retrofitment
- Support sales engineering activities, including accessory-related projects and fuel testing, and perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Good in MS offices (especially Words, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience with automotive product, body builders or related field at least 5years.
- Good human relationship with strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Able and flexible to travel upcountry.
- Good verbal & written communication skills in Thai & English.
- Highly focused attention to detail and high level of integrity.
