Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Procurement Engineering team.
- Manage technical sourcing for machinery, automation equipment, spare parts, tooling, and engineering-related materials.
- Understand and evaluate technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify appropriate technical solutions and suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities in terms of technology, quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Drive cost reduction, localization, and supplier development initiatives.
- Manage supply risks and develop alternative sourcing strategies for critical equipment and components.
- Support CAPEX, automation, and manufacturing improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or related Engineering fields.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Engineering Procurement, Technical Sourcing, Manufacturing Engineering, or related functions.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, automation, and industrial equipment.
- Experience working with manufacturing technologies such as Automation, Robotics, Injection Molding, Metal Stamping, Progressive Die, AOI, or related technologies is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supplier management, cost analysis, strategic sourcing, and commercial negotiation.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
