Responsibilities
- Develop Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and associated structural drawings.
- Perform quantity take-offs directly from BIM models.
- Input relevant information for Facility Management (FM) utilization.
- Monitor modeling progress, update drawings, and inform the Project Manager of any changes.
- Coordinate effectively with other discipline teams.
- Monitor and check for clashes within BIM models.
- Update models to accurately reflect as-built conditions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, including working upcountry as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Revit Structure and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of accurate drafting methods, including layering, X-References, dimensioning, model space/paper space, viewports, and scaling.
- Ability to utilize Revit Structure tools such as Project Browser, Properties, and Type Selector, and to insert various family types.
- Knowledge of creating family parts/libraries and manipulating parameters and schedules.
- Proficiency in Navisworks for model coordination.
- Ability to interpret structural drawings and details.
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, produce quality results, and meet deadlines.
