Deputy Accounting Manager/Assistant Accounting Manager - CIMC Wetrans (Thailand) Co.,Ltd

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage timely submission of all statutory filings.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support financial and tax audits.

• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and accountability.

• Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior management to support decision-making.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

• Continuously assess and improve accounting policies, systems, and procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPD license) is required.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with accounting software systems.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
