Responsibilities
- Test Scenario and Test Case Creation: Design and document comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test data for web applications and APIs.
- Manual Testing (Web and APIs): Perform manual testing based on the test cases and scenarios created, including testing web applications and APIs using Postman.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that the system meets the required quality standards, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and identifying any defects early in the process.
- Test Documentation and Reporting: Collect and compile test results, and maintain relevant test documentation. Provide detailed test reports and updates to the Project Manager.
- Test Progress Reporting: Report the progress of testing efforts, issues encountered, and possible solutions to stakeholders and involved parties.
- Test Summary and Feedback: Summarize test results and provide feedback to supervisors, highlighting any critical issues and proposing resolutions.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- SQL Knowledge (Basic Queries): Utilize SQL to perform basic queries for database validation and verification during the testing process.
- Automated Testing Knowledge (Preferred): Knowledge of automated testing tools and techniques is a plus. The ability to design and implement automated tests will be considered a strong advantage.
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
- Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
- Working knowledge of programming.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
