Responsibilities
Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and improve Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 if applicable).
- Lead internal and external audits.
- Control and update quality documentation (SOPs, Work Instructions, Control Plans).
Process & Product Quality Control
- Oversee quality control activities in SMT, assembly, and final inspection processes.
- Monitor KPIs such as FPY, PPM, scrap rate, and customer complaints.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, FMEA, SPC, 7 QC Tools).
- Drive defect reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Customer Quality Management
- Handle customer complaints and quality claims.
- Prepare and submit 8D reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to resolve quality issues.
Supplier Quality Management
- Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC).
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
- Resolve supplier-related quality issues.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and develop QA/QC teams and inspectors.
- Set team KPIs and conduct performance evaluations.
- Provide training and promote a strong quality culture within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field).
- 5–10 years of experience in QA/QC within electronics manufacturing.
- Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, IPC standards, and quality tools.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
