Responsibilities
1. Supply Chain Strategy & Systems Architecture
- Design and implement an integrated supply chain operating model across Procurement, Planning, Inventory, and Logistics.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA deployment for MRP, Demand & Supply Planning, and Order Management; strengthen commodity risk management; improve data integrity through master data governance; and transform standalone BI reports into a connected, real-time planning and execution platform.
2. Planning Framework (MTO & MTS Integration)
- Implement MTO planning for Medium and High Voltage engineered products and MTS planning for key Low Voltage SKUs.
- Lead the S&OP/IBP process to align demand, supply, production, inventory, and financial objectives. Establish segmented inventory policies, enhance demand sensing using customer and market data, and integrate supply chain planning with working capital and margin management.
3. Procurement & Supplier Management
- Manage strategic supplier relationships to ensure supply continuity, competitive commercial terms, and long-term value.
- Lead negotiations for copper and key raw materials, implement supplier performance frameworks (SLAs, scorecards, governance), and develop resilient multi-sourcing strategies to mitigate supply and commodity risks.
4. Inventory & Working Capital Management
- Establish real-time inventory visibility and segmentation by product, age, and location.
- Implement inventory optimization, safety stock, and reorder point disciplines aligned with cash flow objectives.
- Partner with Finance to evaluate working capital and margin impacts, while reducing excess and obsolete inventory through data-driven processes.
5. Team & Stakeholder Leadership
- Build and develop a high-performing supply chain organization.
- Influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights, commercial acumen, and operational expertise, and effectively communicate performance, risks, and investment recommendations to the CEO and Board.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain experience, including senior leadership roles in manufacturing environments.
- Proven experience designing and implementing end-to-end supply chain operating models across Procurement, Planning, Inventory, and Logistics.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly MRP, MM, and PP modules; SAP IBP experience is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated success in supply chain transformation, systems implementation, and business process improvement within complex and dynamic organizations.
- Extensive experience in commodity procurement and strategic sourcing, ideally within metal-intensive industries such as copper, aluminum, or steel.
- Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and build long-term strategic supplier partnerships while ensuring supply continuity and cost competitiveness.
- Experience implementing supplier performance management frameworks, including SLAs, scorecards, and governance processes.
- Strong experience designing and leading S&OP and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes that align operational execution with financial objectives.
- Solid understanding of mixed planning environments, including both Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) models.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities, with experience in inventory optimization, working capital management, and demand planning.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-making.
- Resilient, decisive, and accountable, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and challenging environments.
- Structured and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of how supply chain decisions impact profitability, cash flow, and overall business performance.
- Experience in the wire, cable, electrical infrastructure manufacturing industry, exposure to commodity hedging or financial risk management frameworks, and/or APICS CSCP, CPSM, or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
