Responsibilities
- Supervise the Incoming Quality Control (IQC) team and manage daily incoming inspection activities.
- Ensure all incoming materials, components, and products comply with quality standards and specifications before release to production.
- Investigate incoming quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal departments.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Prepare, analyze, and report IQC performance data, including key quality KPIs.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), new part approval, and Engineering Change Notice (ECN) activities.
- Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Coach, train, and develop the IQC team to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Quality Control, or Supplier Quality within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, 8D Report, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Good command of English.
- Previous experience in Electronics, PCBA, Automotive, Battery, Solar Energy, or Manufacturing industries is a plus.
- Chinese language skills are a plus.
