Responsibilities
- Supervise daily equipment operations and maintenance activities within the PCBA production line.
- Lead the equipment team to ensure machine uptime and minimize production downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) plans and equipment improvement initiatives.
- Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor key equipment performance indicators, including OEE, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Coordinate with Production, Process, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
- Support new equipment installation, commissioning, and process transfer projects.
- Manage spare parts inventory and control maintenance costs.
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment records, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators.
- Ensure compliance with company safety regulations, 5S requirements, and EHS standards.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment engineering within a PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience managing equipment teams.
- Strong knowledge of SMT, DIP, and PCBA production equipment, including printers, SPI, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, and ICT equipment.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, TPM, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate in English; Chinese communication skills are a plus.
