Responsibilities
- Full Set of Accounts: Manage the full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL) to ensure timely and accurate closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Tax Compliance (Thailand): Handle all aspects of taxation, including PND.1, PND.3, PND.53 (Withholding Tax), PP.30 (Corporate Income Tax), and PP.36 (Semi-Audited statements). Prepare and file P.P. 30 (CIT) and PND. 50 (Year-end CIT).Value Added Tax (VAT): Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns (PP.30) and manage reconciliation of VAT accounts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage payments, perform credit control, and ensure timely collection from customers. Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- General Ledger (GL): Perform monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts and general ledger accounts. Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) and provide supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
- Audit & Compliance: Liaise with external auditors and the Revenue Department during audits and tax inquiries.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the calculation of monthly payroll and related statutory deductions (Social Fund, Provident Fund - if applicable).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in handling full set of accounts and month-end closing processes.
- Tax Knowledge: Strong, hands-on experience with Thai tax filings (PND., PP.30) and statutory reporting is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Express, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Language: Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential. Proficiency in Chinese (verbal and written) is a plus to communicate with HQ teams.
- Preferred Qualification: Candidates with prior experience in the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry will be given priority consideration.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, integrity, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills.
