About the Role We are seeking a talented Optical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of optical products—from initial design and simulation to the hands-on manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of cutting-edge optical technologies, ensuring production efficiency, and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design & Development: Design and develop optical components and systems (such as PBS, NPBS, and fiber optics) using simulation tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Production Management: Oversee the entire manufacturing process, including cutting, grinding, polishing, testing, and bonding.

• Process Improvement: Develop, optimize, and promote new bonding processes; analyze production lines to improve quality and reduce costs.

• Technical Documentation: Review product drawings, design product processing cards, and prepare product price quotations.

• Testing & Quality Control: Define testing standards for each process, evaluate optical product indices, and use specialized equipment for verification and inspection.

• Collaboration & Support: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate optical solutions into larger systems and provide technical expertise to clients.

• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optical engineering and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electronics, Mechanical Processing, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the optical industry, specifically in optical design, manufacturing, testing, and integration.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in optical simulation and analysis tools (e.g., Zemax, OpticStudio).

  • Fluency in AutoCAD / CAXA software.

  • Deep knowledge of bonding technologies (PBS, NPBS) and optical theory.

  • Experience as a process engineer for optical lenses and fiber optics.

• Language: Fluency in English; Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage.

• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and excellent communication/collaboration abilities.
