Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure output meets volume, quality, and timeline targets
- Lead and manage production technicians, providing guidance, task assignment, and performance feedback
- Monitor production line operations and intervene promptly to resolve issues, minimize downtime, and maintain workflow
- Ensure all production processes adhere to GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and post-shift reviews to align team on priorities and address operational concerns
- Track and report production data including output, waste, and efficiency metrics to the Production Manager
- Coordinate with QC, R&D, and maintenance teams to support smooth and compliant production operations
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Assist in onboarding and training new production staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and equipment handling
- Ensure proper documentation of production records, batch reports, and non-conformance incidents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
- Hands-on experience managing production lines and leading frontline production teams
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards in food manufacturing
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
- Basic knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and efficiency tracking
- Able to work in a fast-paced production floor environment with flexibility across shifts
